Vision: We will become the leading Christian education voice among National Baptist Churches and other doctrinally aligned churches.

Mission: We will achieve our vision by staying true to Christ’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20.

Brief History: Pastor Michael O. Minor launched web portal - www.midsouthchurches.org on August 8, 2002. Through the years, Midsouthchurches.org hosted a number of Christian education workshops and an online regional calendar of events. In December 2011, at the move of the Holy Spirit among pastors in North Mississippi, the web portal was transformed into a full-fledged conference of churches. In June 2012, the MSCCC affiliated with the NBCUSA.

Dues Structure: Member churches support MSCCC regular operations (except special events) through quarterly support. Other than free will offerings during sessions, participating churches pay no other required fees. See the back of the MSCCC brochure for the different options.

Special Events (extra fees)

Annual Educational Banquet: To support the Congress educational scholarship fund, the MSCCC hosts an educational banquet. Graduating seniors and first time adult learners from member churches may apply.

Annual Youth Encampment (AYE): Held concurrently the week after the Third Sunday in July with the Hammond Hill Congress in Hernando, the AYE offers daily physical fitness and cultural enrichment activities.

Region 2 Delta North: Coahoma, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tunica, Arkansas Delta Counties

Region 3 Coldwater River: Desoto, Tate, Marshall, West Tennessee Counties

Region 4 Tri-Lakes: Panola, Lafayette, Yalobusha, Grenada, Calhoun
